We have a quick update about cycle four. It has been 11 days since the cycle four chemo. Persy is still in his nadir (the low point of his immune system) that occurs after treatment. He hasn’t been himself in terms of energy and resilience. He has been weak, fatigued, prone to bruising, and running a low-grade fever.

After three trips to the clinic this week, we were hoping for a day off, but his fever was rising and his energy level low this morning, so we brought him back to the clinic. He has been admitted to the day hospital for a blood transfusion, platelets, and hydration.

Please pray that his precious little body rebounds today. He will be put under general anesthesia on Monday, March 28, 2022, for his CT scan, and he needs all the strength he can get.
