We just wanted to post a quick update. Persy completed his cycle three chemotherapy infusions around 2am early in the morning of Saturday, January 8, 2022. He was able to come home later that evening around 7pm.

While we were warned ahead of time that the Cisplatin and Etoposide would be more difficult than previous treatments, it doesn’t make it any easier to see Persy having a hard time. Even with anti-nausea medications, he’s dealing with a lot of vomting and nausea. We’re watching his hydration closely, but the lack of ability to eat normally is making him lose weight. While he is pale and weak as his body recovers, he is still able to enjoy books, toys, iPad, and time with family.
